I can't log in to my SMC Email account what do I do?

Answer

1. First, note that you must be officially enrolled and currently taking classes to email outside SMC. If you've enrolled for the upcoming semester, you must wait until the first day of classes to be able to email outside SMC.
2. Make sure your browser/device is not already logged into another Gmail account. The easiest way to avoid this conflict is to open a private/incognito browser window and then sign in to Student Email with your SMC user name and password.
   • Open an incognito window in Chrome
   • Open a private window in Safari
   • Open a private window in Firefox
   • Open a private window in Microsoft Edge
