I forgot my BEST HCM/ESS Password

  1. Go to the BEST Portal at https://bestportal.lacoe.edu
  2. Click the Log in to Production button at the top of the page.
  3. Enter your BEST HCM/ESS Username. (If you don’t know your BEST HCM/ESS username, see this article: https://smc.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/259/ITPortal/KB/Article/29913/What-is-my-BEST-HCM-Employee-Self-Service-ESS-Username )Image: BEST HCM/ESS Login Page
  4. Select “Work or School”

  1. Enter your BEST HCM/ESS username

  1. Select an option (such as text message) to receive your verification code.
  2. Enter a new password, confirm it, and click Finish

8. Go to https://bestportal.lacoe.edu, log into production with your BEST HCM/ESS username and new password.
